- Your photos and videos are processed on your phone and are never uploaded to us.

The app
Camera and microphone
ExpoFilm uses the camera to take photos and videos, and the microphone to record sound when you film. Everything is processed on your phone. Nothing leaves it unless you share it yourself.
Your photo library
ExpoFilm saves the photos and videos you take to your photo library. It reads the library to show your latest shots and to open the photos you choose in the app. Those photos stay on your phone.
Settings
Your settings, such as your film and lens, are stored only on your phone and are deleted when you delete the app.
Purchases
ExpoFilm Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play, which handle payment under their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details. The app asks the store on your phone whether you own Pro. Apple and Google send us sales and subscription reports, which we use only for accounting, refunds and support (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
No tracking
The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting code and does not track you across apps or websites. It connects to the internet only to reach the App Store or Google Play for purchases.
This website
To deliver these pages and keep the server secure, our web server in Germany processes your IP address, the page you request, the time and your browser type (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are not used for anything else. This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies.
Children
ExpoFilm collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and get a copy in a portable format. Because we hold no data about ExpoFilm users, there is usually nothing to look up, but you can write to us at any time. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
